Hundreds flocked to St. Paul’s Chapel Christmas Eve for caroling, a Christmas play and a brief service. Children from Trinity’s Sunday School and the Trinity Youth Chorus performed.  The church is across the street from the World Trade Center, and 13 years ago, it served as solace for rescue and recovery workers in the months that followed 9/11. A banner sent to the church still hangs prominently in the chapel. The Episcopal Church’s parish formed over three centuries ago, and includes St. Paul’s and Trinity Church, both on Broadway in Lower Manhattan.
