Dish served?
Sweet corn milkshake with homemade whipped cream, garnished with popcorn! Seasonal, simple and refreshing for the Spring weather (and fun for kids!).

Beverage/dish pairing?
A very mild mescal.

Who taught you to cook?
Jacques Maximin; the best thing I learnt from him is to be consistent, always use the best, take no short cuts and work 100 percent of your capacity all the time.

Favorite food growing up?
French food because I’m French!

Splurge utensil?
Vitamix blender, because you can use it on multiple recipes — soup, puree, juice, cream — so many things on one machine.

Common mistake?
Overcooking the food, it is a common mistake for amateurs.

Cooking injury?
Four-hundred-fifty degree fry oil was dropped on both of my hands!

Last meal?
I would go back home to France, have my grandmother cook for me, and share all the red and white Burgundy and Bordeaux I have in my cellar!
