The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, owner of the 1,776-foot-high skyscraper, has sued steel fabricator ADF Steel Corporation for failing to deliver materials to the site that are necessary to complete the building’s antenna and has requested a court order requiring the company to deliver the steel. The company is reportedly withholding the delivery due to an unresolved contract dispute with the bi-state agency. Port Authority spokesperson Steve Coleman declined to comment as to whether the skyscraper is still on track to open late next year.
