HIGHEST HORNS Trumpeter/flugelhornist/composer Tom Harrell brings his quintet to The Village Vanguard from April 29 through May 4. “Harrell’s thought provoking compositions are full of beautiful harmonies, emotional melodies, and improvisations of the highest order; all coupled with great dignity and grace.” Harrell’s group will perform nightly at 9 and 11 p.m. with an additional show at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday only.
