Building something good
From left, Lucille Buddensick, VillageCare senior administrator of residential care; Lisa Garay, VillageCare C.O.O.; and Lillian Tsai, assistant director of social work at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, were looking pleased at the ribbon-cutting for VillageCare’s Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Oct. 21. The new, six-story building, at 214 W. Houston St., west of Sixth Ave., can accommodate 105 inpatients, and will be ready for residents next week. It replaces the old Village Nursing Home at Hudson and W. 12th Sts.
