Tears flow for a son and brother on Lower East Side
At a memorial for Pedro Roman, 23, in front of the building where he lived on the Lower East Side, his brother, Gabriel, 22, held a photo of him, while his grieving mother, Narcisa, 44, and a friend, Manny, 26, stood nearby. Pedro who was also known as P. Murda had argued with a group of people in front of a bodega in the Bronx, and one of them fatally stabbed him. He leaves two young children, Pedro, Jr., 3 weeks old at the time of his fathers death, and a daughter, Taina, 1.
