Friends remember Taz
After bouncer Eric Taz Pagan was slain outside Forbidden City, at 212 Avenue A near E. 13th St., on Sun., Aug. 23, friends left a memorial to him outside the bar. Pagan, 42, who lived at 725 F.D.R. Drive in the Lillian Wald Houses, was off duty at the time, but had come by the place, reportedly to pick up some tools. He was fatally shot after confronting a man who had fired his gun outside the club, hitting two other men with whom he had been in an argument. Pagan was the single father of a teenage girl and boy.
