‘I’ve always been interested in local neighborhood issues and I depend on The Villager to find out what’s happening block by block in the Village. I’ve read it for 30 years. When your other local newspaper is The New York Times it’s important to have a community newspaper that goes into detail about local issues, and The Villager always does that. If I don’t find The Villager in my mailbox by Thursday, I panic. I still read it the old-fashioned way by getting my fingers dirty with printer’s ink.’
